Last week, the biotech group focused on soldering wires. On Monday, we focused on work ethic by prioritizing our goals as a group and effectively completing them. By doing this we needed to focus on teamwork to accomplish our goals. Most of class on Tuesday we finished making/cutting out the gel combs, a total of 14. On Thursday, Katie soldered the wire (because she was the only one with proper training) and attempted to teach the rest of the group. We were only able to complete one because we didn't have enough hands. Hopefully by next week, we will all have the appropriate training and will be able to contribute. While Katie soldered, I helped hold the wire until it was too hot then put gloves on to add an extra layer of protection.
